Changing Things Up
I know it's kind of last minute and all but..... I have decided to use Adobe Indesign for my magazine layout. I had originally thought I would've gone with the website Joomag.com but I just think Indesign is more detailed and makes me feel like a professional.

I have a title!!!!
After about 4 weeks of brain storming a title for my magazine, I think I finally thought up a winner..... "DOGGIE TALEZ". Honestly, this was so hard for me because there are SO many dog magazines that already exist an they basically have all the names one would first think of or come up (The Bark, Dogs Monthly, Dogs Weekly, Dogue, Best Friend, etc.) I'm so happy!!!!!

What a nightmare!!
All I have to say, is that I may have officially been driven insane. Before starting this assignment I had never even seen Adobe Photoshop, so in other words, I was clueless. After downloading photoshop onto my laptop and opening this unknown program for the first time, I did not know where to begin. I cannot remember the last time I felt so utterly confused and a little bit scared as a result of my deep confusion. But, thank goodness for the internet which lead the way to my editing adventure.
I can honestly say that it took me about four or five hours to edit my cover photo, maybe because I kept messing up and I was just a plain ol' mess. But on the bright side, I now know many cool editing techniques that will definitely come in handy for the future and which also allowed me to touch-up the cover image. Here's a little before and after:

Update
I just realized that I have not posted anything about the google doc I've been working on for a while now, where I've been basically putting all my ideas and sources to try to organize my thoughts and facilitate this whole process. So, here's a little glimpse at what's been of going on with my magazine.
